Shana Tova and blessed Rosh Hashanah!
Shana Tova and blessed Rosh Hashanah!
Today, on October 2, at sunset, we begin celebrating Rosh Hashanah—the Jewish New Year. This holiday symbolizes hope for a new beginning, deep reflection, and spiritual renewal. This is a time to review the past year’s deeds, evaluate our goals, and strive for a better, kinder, and more just world. The celebrations will last for two days, ending on the evening of October 4.
Traditionally, Rosh Hashanah is marked by the sound of the shofar (a ram’s horn), symbolizing awakening and a call for change. We enjoy sweet foods, like apples with honey, hoping that the upcoming year will be sweet, filled with happiness, health, and peace.
During this special time, we wish everyone a New Year full of light and love. May our collective efforts help build a world where compassion, justice, and equality prevail.
Shana Tova U’metuka – wishing you all a sweet and blessed year!
