At the end of September, the senior residents and the team of the Uniting Care social centre went on an autumn excursion together, visiting the National Botanical Garden in Salaspils and chocolate workshop Rūgts! in Ikšķile.

On Tuesday, September 19, the opening ceremony of Professor Aivars Stranga’s scientific monograph “Latvian Jews during the Revolutions and War of Independence: 1917–1920” was held in the Mazā aula of the University of Latvia.

Summer is the perfect time for catching up and discovering new pages even in seemingly familiar stories.

At the end of May, Latvia’s best U19 and U20 rowers went to the European Championships held in Slovenia and France.

May 10, 2022, was the final day of the first year of the Amber Music Discussion Club (“Dzintara muzikālo sarunu klubs”), the educational series supported by the Foundation and implemented by the Great Amber Concert Hall.

This summer, the Uniting Foundation once again had the opportunity to support the young and talented musicians from Liepaja – the string ensemble Amber Strings of the Liepaja Music, Art and Design Secondary School – on their way to success.
